Those who prefer a little more hustle can find themselves in the middle of the little village Montecatini Terme<\/strong> in a few walking minutes. Here you can explore the known thermal baths, whom the village owes its growth. Exquisite shops, regional restaurants and even a hippodrome are waiting to be discovered.

\"Funicolare\"<\/a>

Funicolare<\/p><\/div> Also not to forget the cableway “Funiculare”, that connects the thermal village with Montecatini Alto<\/strong>: It offers a perfect view while crossing the olive groves and wooded hills \u2013 all that is only a stone’s throw away from our Agriturismo.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll find a lot more original preserved medieval places of this area near Montecatini Alto. Only a short drive away there are Buggiano, Cozzile, Massa, Monsummano Alto, Montevettolini, Serravalle \u2013 just to tell you some of their names.<\/p>\n

Olive Grove with Connection to the trails leading to Montecatini Alto<\/p><\/div>Podere Gori is located only a few kilometers from well-known Italian art cities as Florence<\/strong> (50 km), Siena<\/strong> (115 km) or Pisa<\/strong> (50 km). Also Lucca<\/strong> (30 km) and Pistoia<\/strong> (17 km) are destinations worth seeing \u2013 easily reached via Motorway. Collodi<\/strong> (15 km) is also worth a visit to follow Pinocchio\u2019s tracks. Do not let slip a trip to the beach: Only 50 km from here, you can relax on the beach or go shopping in Versilia. You like playing golf? Spend your day doing some sports in Montecatini Golf, just 11 km from our Agriturismo.<\/p>\n

Trail Map<\/p><\/div>You only wish to take a break from everyday life? Pass your spare time at Podere Gori with the Italian dolce far niente<\/em>. Or let yourself go while taking a long walk through the hills. Relax in accordance with pure nature and observe its different types: olive groves and cultivated farmland but also unused ground full of blackberry bushes with fruits to try and collect. With a bit of luck you can observe wildlife in the woods such as fallow deers, roes or buzzards. You can also take the direct trail to the higher spot Montecatini Alto<\/strong> to enjoy the incredible panorama.<\/p>\n

How to reach us<\/h2>\n

If you are traveling by car taking the highway between Florence and the sea (A11 \u2013 E76), you should take the exit Montecatini Terme<\/strong>, no matter which direction you approach from. Coming from the toll station head over towards north. It\u2019s only 2,5 kilometers until you reach our Agriturismo.<\/p>\n

There are two train stations<\/strong> in Montecatini for trains connecting Florence with Lucca (east-bound) and Viareggio to Pisa (west-bound).<\/p>\n

For those who travel by plane there are two possible destinations: We are located right between the airports of Florence (Peretola)<\/strong> and Pisa (Galilei)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
